ConradS
I have an external hard drive (NTFS) that went bad. I had windows try to repair it, which took 8 hours. When it was complete, here are the issues I found1. A lot of folders were there, but empty2. Every AutoCad drawing and a lot of JPG files are corrupt and unrecoverable.I know this is wishful thinking, but is there any way of undoing what Windows tried to do and/or use another application to try to repair the damageThanks

Scarecrow Man
It may not be able to help, but you could try Recuva - http://www.recuva.com/
