Alan2273
My brother used bricopacks and when he uninstalled it he could no longer download any microsoft updates, so he did a XP repair following the Powerless guide and everything was back to normal.http://www.windowsforum.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10455

Scarecrow Man
Might be a good idea to get IE up and running. It is not only a internet browser, but a part of Windows. Before trying the guide above, try asfc /scannowin the run prompt.
