SmokingMan
I've looked through the help files to be able to change the default logon screen saver to blank but all that's listed is how to use another screen saver. I want the screen blank. You can do it on an individual account, but can it be done for the XP logon screen?
-pops-
The Windows log-on screen is there for a small moment when you start up. Personally, I hardly notice it and I certainly wouldn't risk messing up my system just to alter such a trivial item.I recommend you try to live with it. SmokingMan
I'm not talking about the screen at boot, but the user account logon screen.
ithonicfury
Change your screen saver to blank on your account.Download TweakUI and install and run it. (should be able to find it by searching for it on Microsoft's site.)Click the plus sign next to Logon, and click on Settings.Put a check in the box next to "Screen saver" and hit copy now.
