AlanHo Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 I have used File Hippo for some time to find updates for my software.Today it reported that there is an update available for Nero Buring ROM - version 8.1.1.0 size 178 MB.I downloaded it - but when I ran the file the install window stated that it was a Demo version and gave me the opportunity to abort the update - which I did.I then used the help facility in Nero to check for updates and it reported that none were available for my computer.What's going on 'ere then..... If Nero works fine why bother with updates? It's not as though it's an AV program or Anti Malware program.
