There is an extensive guide to networking, and a topic going on at the moment on building a computer that has links, (all you need to do is clear all the off topic stuff out of it) and a lot of the other things you ask about could also be found on here.

In my opinion the best learning resource is google. Your not going to find what your looking for in one site. And even if you find some of what you want your going to need to search for easier explanations and examples. As long as you want to learn you won't have a problem at all. It just takes time.

I would recommend as a good place to start for offline and online reading is to get yourself an A+ book for everything about computer hardware and a network+ book for the network essentials. If you read them two books and get a pretty good understanding of them you'll be way ahead of most people and you can get certified in both. Good luck! :flowers: :D
