ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
A friend of mine has a Mac. I advised him that a new QuickTime player 7.3.1 is available, and that he better update his current player. How bloody difficult can that be???I asked him to open the QT player, then 'Check for Updates'. This he did, and it opened a Safari session with QT 7.3.1 downloads, for 'Leopard', 'Panther', and 'Tiger'. Which one to select? I asked him if he has a 'Leopard', or 'Panther', or 'Tiger' installed. He didn't know. He said it's Mac OS X.So I asked him to run 'Apple Software Update', which I usually do on Windows, when I want to check for a new QT player version. He didn't know how to do that!Question, for anyone here who also runs that most difficult OS ever devised:how to run Apple Software Update on a Mac?
