trackrat
I went to a friends house the other day to reinstall Windows XP home for him, as he had been messing about with the partitions on his hard drive and messed everything up.The installation went Ok, then I put SP2 on it and a few programs. Then i installed a Brother all in one printer, scanner, fax machine, after rebooting windows it was trying to boot of the Brother all in one machine, it even had an entry in the boot up menu.I unplugged the USB connection from the computer and it booted into Windows normally. As I have not come across this before, can anyone give me a suggestion on how to remove the entry from the boot menu, or if it is the fact that the fax part of the all in one needs to be on at boot up, how to disable this feature and stop it trying to boot of the Brother machine.
