JimmyBoy
Hi, I have a problem with the wmiprvse.exe, which is taking all my CPU usage. I´m not sure what to do, but maybe it would help If I knew, which subprocesses were related to this service. I found that I have 7 or 8 of them, but I don´t know where to find out, which are they. I only see the number of them...could you help me?
-pops-
You may have a malware infection. Try a PrevX scan. PrevX is quite safe - I use it all the time.http://spywarefiles.prevx.com/RRHHDA6785/WMIPRVSE.EXE.html
AlanHo
Google for the file name - you will find quite a few references to the problem - especially by people on a network.
Irene
If it should prove NOT to be a virus, the following link might be of interest...Microsoft Download CentreI just noticed that you are running on Vista, so I'm not sure that the above link will apply.
