Hardley Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 Hi all,This is my first post, so hoping that some one can assist me.Just installed and ran the free version of Secunia PSI.It told me that every thing was PATCHED OK, but I noticed that a few items were completely doubled, IE same version etc.Would this doubling slow my computer ?. if so how can I delete one of the items?In Control Panel, Add / Remove only one version shows.Thank You.Hardley Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Irene Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 Hello Hardley. Welcome to the forum. :D I am not really fully conversant with Secunia PSI (which I also have installed). When I checked my 'patched' tab, I also have more than one patch against certain items. It seems to me that when it has checked/reviewed an item, it says that it has been 'patched'.Might I suggest that you use the tab, 'Feedback', and ask the question. Secunia are inviting feedback and opinions. I am sure that they would be pleased to receive your communication.If you do, please post back and tell what they say. andsome Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 It is an excellent program. I installed it after a recommendation by Pat Willener. I have just checked, and several of my programs are mentioned two or three times. It does not appear to be a problem.
