controlling desktop from laptop

i have a HP laptop and a HP desktop computer but the desktop has no monitor due to it blowing up to save me money i was wondering if there was a special cable you can connect to the laptop and control the desktop from the laptop i cant use remote desktop to no having a network hardware and my internet is down for a while so if anyone knows a solution to this topic please contact me by personal message.

As for your question; I have three times attempted to read the one single sentence you wrote, but it does not make any sense to me. The making sense ended around the part "due to it blowing up to save me money"...

Your laptop can accept an external monitor, but unfortunately the PC needs a monitor attached. There is no cable to hook it up to a laptop.

If you want to control your desktop from your laptop, you can try something like TightVNC. You will need to install this, so a monitor will be required at first, but once running you are fine to run it without a monitor.
