ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Please do not publish unmunged email addresses in this forum! As for your question; I have three times attempted to read the one single sentence you wrote, but it does not make any sense to me. The making sense ended around the part "due to it blowing up to save me money"...Recommended reading: http://eatsshootsandleaves.com/esl.html :D

Alan2273
Your laptop *won't* act as a screen for your desktop. You have to borrow or buy a monitor!
Scarecrow Man
Your laptop can accept an external monitor, but unfortunately the PC needs a monitor attached. There is no cable to hook it up to a laptop. If you want to control your desktop from your laptop, you can try something like TightVNC. You will need to install this, so a monitor will be required at first, but once running you are fine to run it without a monitor.
Guest Day There
You may use your TV as your monitor if your TV has Video IN from USB. I have seen this at my friend's place.
