Alan2273 Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 If it is onboard sound it will be on the motherboard driver diskIf you do not have this, download PC Wizard 2008 and that will tell you what your sound chipset is and you can find the driver from that information. All drivers will be listed there.I've had to re-install the Realtek HD drivers, a right pain they are. Takes a lot of fiddling about to get them to work. Although the hardware was showing in "system devices" and supposedly the drivers also. I could get no sound and got error message no mixer installed although the "system devices" showed otherwise.
