tintin Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 :( Hi all can anyone advise on this particular problem, every time i try and close a page i get a popup message saying ( Runtime error, this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in a unusal way, please contact the appllcation support team for more info ) I get this every time i try and close a page, and when i do close the everything freezes on my computer until , after a time i am finally able to get the computer working again, the same process again, then repeats with any page i useI imagine its some kind of virus i know we had a page try to take over a couple of weeks ago, called i think my freeze or freeze page, and its happened since then.Any help greatly appreciated Many thanksTintin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dencandy Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 Also perhaps before trying the hotfix you should do virus & malware scans in Safe Mode, otherwise the problem may just come back if you don't find the cause.Have you also run System Restore to a time before the problem started?
