maspunk420 Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 It so happens that i got me one of those fancy wireless addapters... the thing is that i installed everything and it still is trying to connect though dial up and wont let me start new wireless connection because it still thinks i'm going to be running dial up... i also can't activate my windows cause no internet and the # they gave me just happend to not work at all. Boris Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 Not exactly sure what you mean ?But - if you are sure that you have set up your wireless equipment properly and your PC detects that that you have a wireless router.Then go to :-Control PanelInternet OptionsConnections TabChange your Dial-up connection Settings (which are probably still set to your original default)to Never dial a connectionOK Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
