icarus Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 I'm desperate. I am. 2 days ago I just reinstalled Windows Xp SP2 and everything was going so smoothly. 2 days of heaven. Until now as my computer started restarting like crazy out of nothing. 3 mins after a restart and another one follows with a BSOD and the error: "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ; STOP 0X000000D1 ( 0X00000002, 0X 00000000, 0X85BA2D43) . After some research i found that this is my problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925922/en-us. I installed the indicated KB, the tcpip.sys file specified in the article was created...but afterwards.....other Reboots followed. How can I fix this problem???? If you have USB mouse/keyboard than replace them with PS2 types if possible.If it goes OK without the USB devices attached, it indicates there is a problem with one or more of those.
