Will it be suitable for the new Windows OS in a couple of years?Beware of buying a widescreen laptop unless you spend all your time watching cinemascope movies (I made this mistake myself). Are most of the pages you look at portrait or landscape style? If portrait (height greater than width) then buying a widescreen laptop simple means you waste one third of your screen most of the time.Be wary of manufacturers (like Compaq/Hewlett-Packard) that don't supply a Windows System disk.
