Reference Memory Errors

Hello,

Lately I have been running into machines that have been coming up with these Reference memory errors. I'm sure you have all seen them, and I can't figure out if there is a solid fix for them. Some instances people are in their browser, firefox and/or IE, the browser will quit and an error will come up saying "the instruction at 'reference #' reference memory at 'another #'."

Does anyone have any info on these errors? what they mean? why they occur? any possible solution to fix?
