When receiving e-mails with an attachment he gets an error message stating "x-bittorrent not found" and he is unable to open the attachment. I have searched online for some answers. It appears to be quite a common problem which is probably caused by infected files received from a P2P program. It would also appear to be a problem for those who use Incredimail as their e-mail program as my friend does.As stated, this appears to be a common problem but nowhere can I find anyone who has got an answer how to eradicate it.Has anyone had this problem and resolved it? -pops- Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 My personal view is that anyone using P2P programs is exposing themselves to many risks, I have seen it so often.First of all I suggest that your friend does several scans with different anti-malware programs such as are suggested in our security section.
