Zack
I'm missing my desktop tab on my display settings...so.. essentially.. I can't choose my background picture. I think I'm missing another tab too, but I have a feeling that if I can figure out how to fix that, the rest will fix itself too. Any ideas? Thanks guys. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. Is your system fully protected against malware? Did you recently scan for malware?I'd recommend that you run an online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ - use v6.6, as it runs better than v6.5. Scarecrow Man
If using XP Home, Irene's link may not work. GPEdit was not included in XP Home.If this is the problem, you can fix it via registry.HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ExplorerorHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ExplorerFind the key 'ClassicShell' and set it as 0.
