I'm missing my desktop tab on my display settings...

so.. essentially..

I can't choose my background picture. I think I'm missing another tab too, but I have a feeling that if I can figure out how to fix that, the rest will fix itself too. Any ideas?

Thanks guys.

If using XP Home, Irene's link may not work. GPEdit was not included in XP Home.

If this is the problem, you can fix it via registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Find the key 'ClassicShell' and set it as 0.
