B) But seriously it may be helpful if you indicated just what you are running e.g. OS, Browser etc.Haha I don't feel like learning Italian, maybe tomorrow =PI'm running Windows XP Professional on a MacBook Pro (Dual Boot) and using Firefox 3.0. Navigating Options in FireFox seems to get me nowhere, although it apparently shows up only in firefox (sorry originally I thought it was through-out windows). Tools -> Option -> Content -> Languages says English, although the auto-spell check finds almost every word I type wrong, even as I type this. catgate Posted September 2, 2008 Report Share Posted September 2, 2008 This is very odd indeed.Only a few days ago I started with a curious phenomenon with my spell checker in Firefox 3.0.1 (Linux)As I write it spell checks, as it has always done,but it suddenly started underlining words that were correct. I have underlined manually what it has underlined in the this post. My checker set up is as described by Boris and in Tools >Add-ons I have British English Dictionary 1.19.Until now I had assumed that I had done something that I should not have done, but have not yet got round to sorting it out.Perhaps I need to remove the dictionary and reload a new one.I appreciate this does not help you, KeithA45, but you must be relieved that there are others in a similar mess!
