Lestat13 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Share Posted September 2, 2008 About 5 months ago all of my USB ports stopped working.One of my USB ports has lost that black plastic (aligner?) a forgotten time before all of the USB ports stopped working.It broke off when I jammed a USB flash drive in there the wrong way one time. I also have tried to use that USB port after the black plastic piece has broken off.Can anyone give some ides of what happened, and possible solutions? Might I of short circuited it, or are gremlins in my computer?(lol most important part probably)------> Apparantly electricity still runs through the ports - I've plugged a desktop mic, and the on light turns on, but it wont work - no USB anything works at all. <------(lol most important part probably) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
