ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Does this happen for all messages with embedded images? Also, what email client are you using? A screenshot would also help, e.g. to answer Andsome's question.
Dencandy
This happened to me once, about a year ago, but I can't remember how I solved it. Part of the solution was to refresh the screen, I remember that. If you go to Microsoft Help & Support (http://support.microsoft.com/) and type in "red crosses" in the search box, you'll get some suggestions to browse through. Coosa Cable. It will not let me copy it.I'll try the Microsoft Help & Support (http://support.microsoft.com/)and see. Sometimes its an embedded picture sometimes its a html and when I click it I get the same square with a red x in it.
