Belatucadrus
The first one is easy enough :-Right click on Start and select Properties from the drop down menu. This will open a new menu "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties". Select the Start menu tab and click on the customize button, this opens another window entitled "Customize Start menu", select the Advanced tab and look to the bottom for a section called Recent Documents, de-select the tick box to the left and click the Clear list button, then OK it.The second one is proving harder, it's easy enough to conceal the address window: View/Toolbars and then untick the address bar, but that's not entirely satisfactory as it's just as easy to put back. I've not as yet found a way of deleting the suggestions list.
Dencandy
For the 2nd one this might work:Select Tools, then Internet Options, then Advanced. Scroll down till you find a heading labelled Browsing, then look for the item called Use Inline Autocomplete and untick it. Press Apply, then OK.
