Hb_Kai
I need a good and free(preferably) Registry Scanner and zipping program. Anyone know any good ones?I don't mind buying them to download off the net, just not ordering and stuff. :)

Vino Rosso
The Windows registry consists of thousands upon thousands, if not millions, of entries. Run a scan with any registry cleaner and it will most times find just a few hundred "damaged" entries. Fixing these will not make any significant difference to the speed of the computer and there is a chance the registry cleaner may not do a good job and reduce the computer to a very expensive paperweight.Windows XP is particularly forgiving of orphaned registry entries and runs just fine with them in place. Unless a registry entry has been left by malware, in which case it is better to specifically target removal of that entry rather than run a blanket clean up, I would recommend not touching the registry and not using registry cleaning programs.Just a word of warning :)
Hb_Kai
Cheers, I had malware messing it all up anyway and is working better now. :DBut thanks for the warning. ;)
