What has been the response in your area, doug, to yesterday's "Star Exhibit" on the Antiques Roadshow?

The most expensive ever valued...not to say the least antique.

There must be some curious story behind a 20 year old antique worth £1M+ ! Particularly one which is, to my mind, an extremely unattractive form of "contrived modern art".

An item is only worth what someone will pay for it. Personally, I cannot understand what ahyone would want with it.

P.S. I ain't Doug. :D

P.S. I ain't Andsome. Re the Angel have got used to it. Expect it will be "liberated" in due course if the minature is worth that much.

I ain't Heavy.......he's my brother.

I think it's just a plot to get the economy out of the doldrums.

We shall probably see old half bricks valued at a tenner each and discarded plastic "take-away" containers at a fiver.

That has already happened in the Tate gallery, with bricks, tyres, dirty unmade beds, dead fish, dead sharks etc etc.
