Visionary
Hey folks,I got infected with Virtumonde and I have "removed" it numerous times with both SpyHunter and ESET Smart Security - both purchased copies up to date and whenever I conduct a scan it always shows that it found threats and then claims to have removed them upon next restart. Well, when I restart my computer I still get the task-bar balloon pop-up "Windows might be at risk, automatic updates are turned off" and turning them on is a no no - doesn't work. My browser still opens up random pages directing me to fake virus scans and ads, how can I fix this without formatting my disc? Thanks in advance,-Kevin

Luis 2012
Try Spybot Search and Destroy or download the free Ad-Aware program. Also try to run these while in Safe Mode (it decreases the chanses of the malware reinstalling) to boot into Safe mode press F8 repeatedly at boot and selece Safe Mode from the options
