yoda112
Due to some partition problems on my RAID0 arrray im experiencing which I made with acronis disk suite I want to reformat my computer and reset the partitions I made on a clean formatted Harddisk in DOS mode. Im planning on making 4 partitions. One for XP one for Vista and 2 for Games and other software/downloads. So I dont wanna use a program. So im about to format my 2x1Terabyte Samsung F1 harddisks running in RAID0. I had problems before with these drives. Once they were running the way they should I got multiple RAID errors after making the partitions with Acronis disk suite. So if anyone out there knows a appropriate DOS based program which I can boot from a CD to do the JOB it would be very great.EDIT: Oh and before people are going to suggest to run Harddisk Diagnostics and CHKDSK. Believe me, I already did. To many times in fact. And theyre ok. I know I messed up the partitions somehow.
catgate
Have you looked at "fdisk"? That is a DOS based utility.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
If you are trying to format your partitions as NTFS, be aware that DOS does not support NTFS.
