Visionary
Hello there,I have Verizon FiOS installed at my house and I have noticed something extremely irritating, all computers in this house are hooked up the same way running at 100.0 Mbps while mine runs at 10.0 Mbps... When I look under the Network Connections my PC has 2 connections listed as opposed to my secondary (POS) PC and probably every other PC has 3 - The one I am missing is the one with the Globe icon, I forgot what that one is labeled but that connection states that it is running at 100.0 Mbps while the other 2 connections are identical to the following except that I am using a different Motherboard chipset. That part is identical in both computers but the third connection which I am missing shows a speed of 100.0 Mbps... Boris
You could try fitting a separate PCI 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN Adapter card, rather than using what presumably is your motherboard ethernet port ?
Chris
1394 is Firewire running @ 400mbps. It's a different type of connection and used for connecting video camcorders, hard drives etc.
