A Few issues

I would like to thank you guys who helped me to get my laptop reformatted and working nicely now.

I have a couple of things that I can't remember ho to sort out.

1. I have a extra monitor that I used to use along side my laptop but I cannot seem to work out how I can get it to be an extension of my screen. When I plug it in to my laptop, it is just copying what is on my laptop.

2. I need to know how I can change my keyboard layout. At the moment, When I use the @ button I get " and when I use the " button I get @

Click on 'Start'

Click on 'Control Panel'

Find Date, Time, Language and Regional Options

Once the new window appears click on the 'Regional Options' tab and in the format dropdown select "English (United Kingdom)"

Click the 'Languages' tab and make sure you have "English(United Kingdom)" in the Installed Services box. If not click Add and select "English (United Kingdom)" in the Input Language dropdown and then select "United Kingdom" in the keyboard layout dropdown.

Click OK to return to the Language window. In the top dropdown (Default input language) select "English (United Kingdom)".

Click Apply and then OK

Finally click OK again and close down the Control Panel.

You may need to reboot the PC once you have made these changes. :)

It looks like you are on the default American keyboard setting. It depend what OS you are using, but you should find something to reset it in Control Panel in Windows or System>Preferences in Linux.
