The problem is this:* In the my settings i have two accounts for windows, one account called RICARDO and the other one, called ADMIN. The account RICARDO don't have administrator options.* When i start session whit the account RICARDO, the system redirect to another account called TEMP, so the settings in that new account are diferent from the settings in RICARDO account.* I only see the information in RICARDO account in the account ADMIN through c:/Document and settings/...If someone can help me, i'll be very very grateful!!!ByePD: I'm don't speakenglish very well xD, sorry if you don't understand something in this post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't worry about your English, this is an international forum.My advice to you is to use the Admistrator account to set up a new Limited User account with a different name (e.g. Ricardo1). Then use the Administrator account to copy all the old files you need from the Guest Account Ricardo to the new Limited User account. Then switch to the new account and make sure all the files are there.Once you are satisfied it's working OK, switch back to the Administrator account and delete all the files in the Guest account. Finally turn the Guest Account off. The reason I say that is because Guest Accounts are very insecure and can easily be taken over by hackers, botnets etc. Most files in a Guest Account get labelled Temp because that's the sort of account it is. Dencandy Posted February 9, 2009 Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 I think the problem was partly due to a bug in the Guest account system. That's another reason not to use the Guest account but to switch to a Limited User account with a password, especially if you have an internet connection.You can easily check if your computer has a virus by doing an on-line scan with the ESET/NOD32 on-line scanner: ESET.
