Hb_Kai Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hey, I've just decided to take Vista off my computer and put XP on there. So I installed XP SP1 from the CD and then downloaded the updates and XP SP2, and now downloading SP3 but everything on my monitor is too large.Below is a screen shot of everything and maybe you'll see what I mean. How do I get the settings I want? I've gone through the resolution settings and everything and still can't find anything. The resolution is at its lowest. I've gone through everything in the Control Panel too.It's a bit of a stupid question I think but don't know whether it's because I've forgotten all about Windows or I can't remember if I've had to do this before, but I feel stupid. :(Ta Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alan2273 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 If you are using a Nvidia card, I suggest you go to the Nvidia site and download and reinstall the latest drivers, as there is an automatic download from Microsoft that can break the Nvidia driver and puts you back to the lowest resolution.
