Hi,

I have the new x58 MoBo and it seems that Vista does not even recognize the integrated adapter of ethernet. I unfortunately havent tried it on XP once I had it but the situation is so... The system does not recognize any ehtrnet adapter if I request recognision of error the system says that the adapter is not actually integrated. If I try to install the official driver the installation terminates with message that no adapter was found.

Has someone experienced this or do you have any steps how may I solve it?

Thx for help

Gordon,

Are you able to go to the vendor's site and download Vista drivers for the card?

As I said I tried to install drivers but the installation terminates each time. (please read thoroughly the post)

sometimes viruses can cause something like this... maybe with your comp is all ok

I dont think that is the problem I never had that computer connected to the internet.
