G-Rock
I'm writing on behalf of my mum who has had a PC for about six months. A couple of weeks ago she said the the Windows Computer logo in the bottom left of her screen went on a journey across her screen and then exploded. Now the computer is barely functioning. What is this? Thanks
Gordon
That is so called a virus... No problem for a script kiddy to crate thatTry antivirus, disk cleaner, registry cleaner or hard drive formate. Some of it may get you rid of that virus if not go with the Format that works in 100%
Hb_Kai
Be a little more informal... The operating system maybe, what exactly happened or how the computer is malfunctioning now, any other stuff... And, what Windows Computer logo you talking about? I'm using XP at the minute and only see the Start Menu - Is that what you mean?
Gordon
I am not aware of fact that Microsoft would include in their operating system an event of moving start button with explosion following. What else then a virus could it be, if the computer is not usable from exactly time of explosion it is certainly job of a virus.
Hb_Kai
I meant what operating system are you using? But I'm not quite sure what type of virus it would be if the icon moves across the screen and soon thereafter explodes.
