popey Posted March 7, 2009 Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 hello, i want to know what servers can i configure on windows like proxy server,file server etc on linux...... what are the software i required to configure those servers......i am looking for all the servers that can run on windows....i tried to install webmin but i doesn't work.....i installed webmin.exe and active perl....can you plz tell what else i do require.....also plz tell the servers and there corresponding s/w......any type of help will be very useful ..... popey Posted March 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 server means like a linux system may used as server like proxy server,samba server,file server and many other ...there must be some server that we run on windows and access from other systems may be like file server...so i want to know what are those servers that i can run on windows.....i have configured like proxy server on linux that require squid similarly i want to know how can i run such server on windows and what are there corresponding s/w...like SERVER=proxy server SOFTWARE=squid.....if i have not make it clear plz tell i will again try.....
