Brugskunst
HiThis is really starting to bug, and I have no idea what to do:Whenever i startup my pc, I end up at the screen where i have to choose between starting in "Safe Mode", "Normal Mode" etc. I have tried choosing every option, but my computer just reboots and I end up at same screen again! Very frustrating..It started right after i rebooted to computer to install some updates...I run Windows XP HomeI really hope someone can help! From:Brugskunst
catgate
Hello Brugskunst.Do you know how to get into the BIOS to change the boot up preference? It is usually a matter of hitting "Del" , or "F2" or even "F11"(depending on the machine) just after switching on and before it starts the boot up process. Brugskunst
Yes, i know that, and I've tried to go in there and change some settings, but i always wind up restarting and ending at that same spot...
catgate
The reason I asked was because my mind was going along the route of booting up from the CD drive with some sort of rescue disc, if you had such a thing.
Boris
Try doing a repair installation of your XP ?This repair will allow you to keep your current documents and applications intact but will reinstall Windows XP.Excellent guide to doing it here :-http://www.simplyguides.net/guides/repair_...lation_xp.shtml

I've tried to search for it, but i can't find anything... What to do?Greetings, Brugskunst
