Boris Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 The Vista Status and Configuration tool gives you the ability to backup certain file types. e.g. e-mail, documents, or photos. It does NOT back-up :-- Files that have been encrypted using Encrypting File System (EFS), - System files, - Any files stored on hard disks that are formatted using the FAT file system, - Files that are in the Recycle Bin - User profile settings.
