artemis_f0wl
Well this is the first time I've encountered such an issue... I just reformatted one of my machines and after the install, I went through my typical setup processes of update, activate, and load software... but the activation fails. It's so weird to be told I'm not connected when Windows' Updater was able to access things without issue and I can surf and get online without a problem. Perhaps I have made a mistake by continuing to load software without first resolving this issue. I'm hoping to get the OS activated without needing to re-reformat and start all over again.. again! Thanks for your input.
andsome
I may be wrong, but I am sure that if Windows has not been activated you can look in Accessories/System tools and activate, and telephone Microsoft. If this info is not correct maybe some else will point you in the right direction. :D
rong
I must say that I am surprised that a child genius like yourself is asking for help here as I thought you were still in touch with the fairies and as such have access to Foaly, sorry but I can't help you but others with more knowledge of the activation process will be around later. Dencandy
This often happens after a re-install or change in hardware in the computer. Take andsome's advice above & follow the on-screen instructions.
