Hello, Can anybody tell me if there is a way to delete more than 1 picture at a time, from the

windows media CENTER. Thank you to the person(s) that can help.

I don't know about Media center, but in other programs select EDIT/Select all, and then press the delete button on the kepboard. If you only want to select some of the pictures, hole down the mouse button and drag across the ones that you want to highligh, and then press the delete button. :D

I don't know specifically about WMC but the normal way of bulk deletion is (in list or thumbnail view) click the first one for deletion, hold down the shift key and click on the last one. This highlights all the items between the two clicks which can then be deleted in the normal way.

If you want to deleted all files in a folder, press Ctrl + A and then delete.

Thank you for your quick response, but WMC is not at all like entering, deleting and so on and does not have those actions available, I can delete them one by one but there is more than a 1000. I accidently pressed the wrong button so to speak. Thanks for your time.

The WMC doesn't have these functions available, but thank you for your concern. John

This is one of the most basic Windows functions; all Windows versions I have known, from Windows 3.1 to Windows 7, have these functionalities. There is perfectly no reason why you couldn't do that in WMC. But maybe you need to use Windows Explorer to do it.

We do not delete any questions, especially when they are answered. This way it may help somebody else in the future. Also, sometimes I use answered questions as a reference for similar new questions or problems.
