GLC Tech Posted May 21, 2009 Report Share Posted May 21, 2009 Hi I work in a small office and we are getting a flat screen TV to mount to the wall, we want a nearby computer to be able to hook up to it to stream video and do presentations. Therefore I need to get a new graphics card.I haven't purchased the TV yet, but it will probably be a minimum of 50inches with all the bells and whistles you find on nice tvs these days.Anyway the computer I have is a Dell E Machine FlexATX case, and I believe all it has for expansion is plain old PCI slots? I know the standard these days are PCI Express cards. Are there good enough PCI cards or would I be better off trying to find or obtain a computer with a PCI express on it to hook up to a HD flat screen tv?If PCI will work can you recommend any cards?Thanks!
