DazerUK Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 Everytime I connect my iPod Touch to my Vista PC I get a pop up saying that the device could perform faster if connected to a high speed port.Trouble is all my ports are USB2 ports. This happens whatever port I plug it into.I have other USB2 devices including a Video iPod and USB hard drives, yet non of these complain that they are connected to slow ports, even if I plug them into a port the Touch has just complained about.Not sure how to start tracking down what is causing this.Any advice would be greatefully received. I am working on the principle that the wire that connects the iPod to the machine can transmit electrons, and thus information, both ways.
