I have Windows XP SP3 installed on my compiuter. One day my Cd-Writer become obsolete.I went to control panel and saw an yellow mark on IDE Controller. So I uninstalled my device and restart my compiuter. At the start-up my compiuter found a device called SCSI/RAID Host Controller, then searched for the appropriate driver and begun to install it but at the end something went wrong so the driver was not installed. This happens everytime that I uninstall this device. Can anyone help me to resolve this bug on my compiuter. B)

SCSI/RAID Host Controller - do you actually use RAID or SCSI drives ?

If you do not use it, it is not necessary to install drivers for it :)

Just go to Device Manager and disable it.
