Stop error message 0x000000d1

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a Dell Windows XP and everytime I start it up, after I enter my password, it gives me the BSOD. It says Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. I can't get past this screen to start the computer. It also says Stop error 0x000000d1 and driver_irql_not_less_or_equal under that. If it helps I just installed a Flash player update and a Steam update. Before the last shutdown where the computer was working, I selected Shut down and install updates, I came back a while later and saw the power button was still light up, so I manually shut the computer down. Can someone please help me resolve this problem?
