Hb_Kai
By doing a system restore, you can lose documents recently made but not always. You can also gain back deleted items through system restore :lol:One thing though, out of curiosity, what help screen are you enquiring about? AlanHo
I have done a system restore many times and have never lost or gained any files in the documents, music, pictures and video folders.System restore is intended to concentrate on the OS and program System files. If you have installed programs or uninstalled any after the time you roll back to - those will revert to the chosen restore date. I have also noticed that my IE favourites are restored - I now save the favourites folder to a separate drive before a restore to get them back again.
