shokan
Internet options is missing from Control Panel. I don't know how or why it happened. I recently had an OEM version of XP Pro repair installation, but Internet Options was missing before that. I use Firefox, but when I click on Internet Explorer to get a Favorites link for example, I get a Run dll error message and IE does not launch.... don't know if this is relevent info. What's going on?Thanks.
Boris
The first thing I would suggest is to run SFC to check for missing files. To do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in: "sfc /scannow" without the quote marks. This will check your system files and replace them if any are missing etc. You may need to insert your XP disc if your I386 folder is not on your hard drive. Hopefully that should sort your problems out.
