Notepad is a very basic program which I think would have great difficulty in decoding the complexities of WMC in any way that would be comprehensible to a human user.Some files have the option of opening in alternative programs. If you right click on the file and see "open with" that should give you a list of alternatives which can open the file (if any) or you can browse for your own choice. Be careful using the browse though. It is sometimes possible to open files in totally unsuitable programs and cause havoc on the machine.
