Pleasure in 3-D

For the first time in 5 years - we went to the cinema yesterday. We went to see the new Disney 3-D film "Up".

T'was magical and the 3-D effects superb.

We went to the 1.00 pm showing on a school day - hence I was the only kid in the audience - the others were all pensioners.

Everyone seemed to leave with a big smile on their faces. If you fancy something different - I recommend it.

I had a bit of a shock at the ticket prices though - £7.40 is far removed from the £4.00 I last paid.

You should get an orange mobile phone. If we want to go to the cinema we just ask for an Orange Wednesday code, and show trhe message at the ticket office and get in at the rate of two for the price of one. We just send a text to 241, with the word film.

The 3D technology is quite old, and I am surprised that it has been dormant for so many years. I went to see House of Wax, and also Bwana devil in my twenties, and as you say the effects are stunning. :D

The films are now in colour and have sound...................

I knew about the Orange phone deal - unfortunately we cannot use Orange phones due to lousy network coverage in both our home area and where we keep our static country caravan. We have to use O2 - even Vodafone is duff.

Did you miss those two all those years ago?
