For such a big download, I prefer not to use wifi, because of the size of the file that could go corrupted, and also depends on the quality of the wifi. How can I tell the quality of my wifi and if its up to par for a download? I'm running a new N wireless Netgear router & dongle.I could hook up the machine to a hardwire... but it will just be a huge pain to unhook everything multiple times - but I dont think I will receive the backup cd for a couple of weeks.So if I want Win 7 ASAP, which I do, I'm going to have to download it. Don't you have a reliable mail delivery service in Ohio ?My two legitimately purchased copies of Win 7 Home Premium (each containing both the 32bit +64bit versions on DVD) arrived today from Amazon UK ! And I've purchased it through a student program which allows me to download it for $30 and order a BACK UP dvd/cd whatever that PER THE EMAIL FROM MICROSOFT states it can take up to 2 weeks.Any other questions? Or do you want to continue to pretend like your making a contribution online by acting as as the pirate police?And Catgate, what I would have done is run XP pro 32 like I currently am. But since I have a bunch of software for my business & need to get my music software in place, I need an OS that will max all 8g of my ram.
