How to make a bootable Windows 7 Cd/Dvd from download?

Recommended Posts

i already have a thread similar to this, but now my question isn't so much how do i do a clean install, but im asking how do i make a dvd from the files i downloaded so that i can boot it when my computer starts up. i heard you can also use a USB drive portable, but i would need at least 4gb usb portable, so anyone know if i can use a dvd and how i would burn it? as a data or what? please :D im dying to use my windows 7.

Btw the files i have on my desktop are an .exe file and setup1.box and setup 2.box. Im not sure if i have to click the exe and then save the files that it unloads.

Burn the three files to a DVD.

If you are doing a clean install, insert the disk, shutdown and reboot with the disk in place. If you are upgrading from a current Vista install, boot the machine, disable the antivirus and insert the disk, follow the onscreen instructions.

The idea of having the three separate files is to enable you to use multiple smaller memory sticks and insert them in sequence.
