shokan
I have an old Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop (circa 2001). I am able to download the Java installer, but when I try to download Java nothing happens, or nothing happens with a 302 error notice. If I knew where Windows firewall is, I could disable it but I can't find it. I haven't found anything else online to help out. Thanks. doug
If you are using XP the Firewall can be accessed in the control panel as Windows Firewall. It can be disabled there temporarily provided you immedeately re-activate it after your download. It is dangerous being connected to the Internet without both a Friewaall and an antivirus protection.
