Check out your memory sticks (RAM), - Video card, (If not on-board), and hardware peripherals. Pay particular attention to USB connected devices. MANEMAN Posted November 16, 2009 Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 Command line options have been added to "BlueScreen View"http://blog.nirsoft.net/2009/09/13/command...viewer-utility/Basically Nirsoft have given something with "BlueScreen View" that fast-tracks a lot of things that may confuse the "Non Computer Savvy", and comes back within minutes with exactly the same results that would otherwise take a "Noob" quite a lot of time to reach by the older methods of debugging.Would have to agree though that the older methods give a better general idea of the pathways to reaching a conclusion. I'm not arguing or disagreeing, It's just, well.......... - loads of ways to skin a cat. :0 B) Unfortunately 99.9% of computer users don't want to learn anything, - just get it fixed, and carry on surfing or playing. B) Take for instance doing a ping from the command box versus WinPing. Far easier these days to teach someone how to ping from an icon on the desktop using a nice GUI, than how to get to, and use a command prompt.Takes bloody hours to explain why they cant copy and paste things in there, etc; etc. Even then they are not really interested.Fast-track everything when dealing with the general public so that they get quick results...........
